The History of The Wilson Group Real Estate Services

The Wilson Group was established in 1988 by the late and legendary Hal Wilson, a veteran of Nashville real estate since 1968, who started the company as an investment real estate firm.  Hal was visionary in seeing the appeal of the older more urban neighborhoods and renovating and reselling the homes.  His daughter, Christie Wilson, joined him in 1995 to implement the listing and sales department, rounding out The Wilson Group into a full service real estate firm.

Hal’s breadth of experience in real estate sales, instruction, investment, renovation, rehab and more along with Christie’s experience in sales, management, leadership, enabled the father daughter team to quickly lead the community with their combined energy and enthusiasm for homes, housing, and educating people. Hal even founded Continual Learning Institute which continues to educate and help real estate agents in our community reach their professional goals.

Since Hal’s passing in 2010, Christie and her team carry out his purpose and build on his hard work every day, surely making him very proud. That purpose is simple: to provide a culture of excellence, positivity, and learning where team members and agents are hungry, humble, and smart, so they can serve our clients with full confidence and joy.

Our flagship office is located in the lovely Sylvan Park neighborhood, where our company and family roots run deep. We opened our second location in the heart of Green Hills in the Fall of 2016.
